Why Aloe Vera ROCKS!

I always loved Aloe Vera for sun burn and bug bites or other burns, lets face it its slimy gooey stinky stuff but it gets the job done better than a few store bought creams and remedies I have tried. My family always had it growing outside so it was a fast, easy, and VERY inexpensive (no cost at all) at home remedy. You can even grow it inside, when we get our own house I intend to have my little plant inside 😀 even more so now after discovering yet another use for it!

Aloe vera has 18 amino acids which are great for healing skin and has anti-inflammatory properties, using it is also crazy easy. Just go out and break off a piece use the juice or crush it up to make a paste, either way it works. As much as I’ve always told everyone I know that they should use aloe vera, I never knew that it could be eaten…

Last night, I went to the movies with my parents, we saw Grown Ups which by the way is a freakin awesome movie! I love that we have a $1 movies lol anyway I’m straying from my point… we decided to go to the .99 cent store next to it to shop before the movie (not to buy candy to sneak in or anything) and as I was looking at the drinks I saw something interesting. There was a green bottle that caught my attention… if you know me, anything odd, weird, I have to look into. So I picked it up and read “Aloe Vera Juice” OMG I must try this lol! It said it was naturally Cherry flavored and ALL NATURAL oh joy I started getting giddy and ran to the check out with it.

LOOKEY…

Anyway, I drank it and found it very refreshing, unique, and felt pretty darn good afterwards since I’ve been having crazy belly aches lately. (Could be the change in food from TN to TX still not used to it)

So then I decided to look into what exactly consuming Aloe Vera does…

WHY YOU SHOULD EAT IT found here and here:

* People all over the world already eat it such as China, Japan, Korea, and other Asian nations
* Increase your resistance to disease
* Full of antibiotics
* Some people claim that eating Aloe vera will also prevent hair loss (not yet proven but cant hurt to try)
* Rumored to help reduce acne or pimples
* Aloe vera gel is a great natural aid to detox
* Has been shown to help reduce and soothe heartburn and other digestive problems
* Drinking aloe vera gel regularly gives the body a regular supply of anti-oxidants, which can boost and enhance the immune system
* Contains 12 substances which can slow down or inhibit inflammation
* Helps combat the effects of aging
* Allows energy levels to increase and helps maintain a healthy body weight
* Contains vitamins A, B1, B2, B6, B12 , C, E, Folic Acid and Niacin
* Aloe vera gel tops up your body’s daily supply of Amino Acids
* Helpful for your mouth and gums

Back to the drink I tried… I tried to look up info for you guys so you could try it but it appears the website doesn’t exist… or maybe it was down I don’t know feel free to try it but I couldn’t get anything on them lol.

I did however find information on Good Karma Beverage Inc. their website can be found HERE where they do sell Aloe Vera juice in a variety of flavors.

But it’s just called Aloe Vera, no mention of Gaia at all… odd… maybe I’ll inquire about this. Anyway seeing as it is the same company I trust their products to taste yummy as well so why not try some!?!!?
Also, under ‘Where To Buy’ a store listed is the .99 cent stores so I’m thinking they just renamed the product or something. I’m going to write them lol curiosity has gotten the best of me.

In conclusion Aloe Vera ROCKS!
