Minion Tie Crochet Pattern Free

Note:
This pattern calls for yards of yellow yarn, inches of black yarn, inches of gray yarn, and inches of white yarn.
The ch2’s at the beginning of each row, count as first dc.
The number In parenthesis, at the end of each row, depicts the number of stitches in that row.
inc= complete 2 or more stitches in one space.
dec= crochet 2 or more stitches together.
For dc dec 1 or dc 2 tog: *yarn over, draw up one loop from the working space, yarn over, pull through 2 loops on the hook* repeat one more time for the next space. Yarn over, pull through the remaining 3 loops on the hook.
For dc dec 2 or dc 3 tog: * yarn over, draw up one loop from the working space, yarn over, pull through 2 loops on the hook* repeat two more times from the next spaces. Yarn over, pull through the remaining 4 loops on the hook.

Use YELLOW yarn for the tie: Ch 9, dc into the 4th ch from the hook.
Row2-59: Dc in each space (7)
Row 60: Turn, ch2. Dc 2 spaces, dc inc in the next space, dc 3 spaces. (8)
Row 61-62: Turn, ch2. Dc each space. (8)
Row 63: Turn, ch2. Dc 3 spaces, dc inc in the next space, dc 3 spaces. (9)
Row 64-65: Turn, ch2. Dc each space. (9)
Row 66: Turn, ch2. Dc 3 spaces, dc inc in the next space, dc 4 spaces. (10)
Row 67-68: Turn, ch2. Dc each space. (10)
Row 69: Turn, ch2. Dc 4 spaces, dc inc in the next space, dc 4 spaces. (11)
Row 70-71: Turn, ch2. Dc each space. (11).
Row 72: Turn, ch2. Dc 4 spaces, dc inc in the next space, dc 5 spaces. (12)
Row 73-74: Turn, ch2. Dc each space. (12)
Row 75: Turn, ch2. Dc 5 spaces, dc inc in the next space, dc 5 spaces. (13)
Row 76-77: Turn, ch2. Dc each space. (13)

Row 85: Turn, ch2. Dc 5 spaces, dc dec1, dc 5 spaces. (12)
Row 86: Turn, ch2. Dc dec1, dc next 6 spaces, dc dec1, dc last space. (10)
Row 87: Turn, ch2. Dc dec1, dc next 4 spaces, dc dec1, dc last space (8)
Row 88: Turn, ch2. Dc dec1, dc next 2 spaces, dc dec1, dc last space. (6)
Row 89: Turn, ch2. Dc next space, dc dec1, dc last 2 spaces. (5).
Row 90: Turn, ch2. Dc next space, dc dec1, dc last space. (4)
Row 91: Turn, ch1. Dc dec3. Fasten off.

Use BLACK yarn for the mouth appliqué: Chain 13.
Sc into the second ch from hook, sc each space. Ss in the same space and fasten off. Leave a tail triple the length of the mouth. (12)
Begin with BLACK for the minion eye appliqué:
Round 1: 6sc into a magic circle. Do not join. (6)
Round 2: Change color to WHITE for the last black sc pull through. Sc inc in each space. Do not join. (12)
Round 3: *Sc the next space, sc inc the next space* 6x. Do not join. (18)
Round 4: *Sc the next 2 spaces, sc inc in the next space* 6x. sl st in next space. (24)

Use GRAY for the lens frame around the eye: *Sc the next 3spaces, sc inc in the next space* 6x. Fasten off. Leave a tail the length of double the circumference of the lens you have just completed.

Sew the appliqués on!
Approximates:
gray is 3yards,
white is 4yards,
black is 2yards,
yellow is 96 yards
