BioFinest Shea Butter (stopped my baby’s eczema in it’s tracks)

Lovely readers today I’d like to tell you about an ingredient I used that helped take my baby’s eczema issues from severe to not so bad at all to tolerable to almost not noticeable! I got the opportunity to try out BioFinest Shea Butter and it happened to be at the right time because I discovered just weeks earlier that something was going on with my littlest one’s skin. Something I knew all too well unfortunately.

You see, my oldest son has eczema, so I already knew the little warning signs and what to look for. I was not too happy to see similarities in their skin but I knew how to deal with it. I went searching and searching for something to help Atlas as the usual things I’d do with Seth were not working! Then I was told about this mixture:

Eczema Cream
* 1/4 cup unrefined shea butter
* 1/4 cup coconut oil
* 15 drops lavender essential oil
* 5 drops tea tree oil

Melt the shea and coconut together then add drops and let cool.

It seemed easy enough. So, we tried it out and it worked! The itching stopped and his eczema went from bright red bumpy ouchy areas to light pinkish irritated areas and then finally to barely noticeable areas!

So, why was the unrefined shea butter such a big deal you ask? Well, when you buy shea butter it is not always unrefined. Sometimes looking into your ingredients for your products can really pay off. BioFinest Shea Butter is unrefined, the reason you want unrefined is that the refining process takes out all the nutrients in the shea butter. So, you go to the store and buy some shea butter, get terrible results or no results at all and wonder why. Well, it really does matter it can still moisturize if it is refined but your missing out on everything else amazing about shea butter!

Where is this made?

You can find Shea Butter from all sorts of places but there is a specific reason why I adore this brand. This shea butter is produced in a village in Ghana, West Africa and is prepared by hand there and then sent in bulk to the US. It’s hand packaged from that point, and then ships to you.

Main Benefits Of BioFinest Shea Butter

Shea Butter provides all essential vitamins needed to make the skin look and feel smoother, softer and most importantly healthier! It has therapeutic properties that protect the skin from wind, cold and helps heal wounds faster. 10 of the main uses for skin conditions is Acne, Eczema, Hives, Psoriasis, Dry Skin, Wrinkles, Stretch Marks, Cracked Heels, Sun Damage, and Skin Rashes. Shea Butter stimulates cellular activity, fights the effects of aging and repairs rough, damaged skin. The way you can tell if it’s pure and unrefined is that it has a yellowish texture and gives out a nutty scent.

If your looking for a high quality ingredient this is it!
