Before I go into major details about the environmental awesomeness this product offers I’d like to note that a portion of your purchase payment supports the environmental youth education programs of the Sierra Club Canada and a number of other campaigns which can be seen here. Dizolve actually gives you the option of choosing which you’d like your portion to go to at check out!

Dizolve Ultra uses zero plastic in its packaging and reduces transportation pollution by 94%. To our knowledge, it has the smallest packaging and transportation footprint of any detergent. Not often do I put ginormous pictures in my blog but take a second to look at the one below, read through it and see why I love Disolve!

KEEP IN MIND THESE STATISTICS ARE FOR CANADA AND I’M PRETTY SURE IN THE US THEY PROBABLY RESEMBLE THE SAME. STILL SEE THE IMPACT DIZOLVE HAS ON THE ENVIRONMENT!!!

Based on the statistics above if we here (in the US) used Dizolve Ultra Laundry Detergent Strips imagine the impact we could help make! Toss those squishy packs of detergent, stop measuring loads with slimy liquid, stop pouring powder, just tear off 1 piece of detergent, toss in and that’s it you did your part to save money, keep harsh chemicals out of your washing machine and you became a wee bit more eco friendly!

Now that we talked about how environmentally awesome it is how does it work?? Well of course I decided to try it out on a load of cloth diapers. Why? Well it’s dirtier than most normal loads of laundry and there’s a wee bit of a pee smell to them going in among other nasty stuff. So, we tossed in 1 single strip of Dizolve Ultra Laundry Detergent. We discovered… it worked! That’s right it worked even on the dirtiest of dirty and got our diapers smelling clean and awesome! That made this cloth diapering momma’s job a little bit easier and I’ll take easier whenever possible!
