We’ve established that I’m an eco dork! Well, I decided my next giveaway would be for jewelry! Not just any jewelry, RECYCLED jewelry!

About the company: Eco-Artware.com is a web-based gallery of unique, well-made and environmentally friendly gifts. All their pieces are art created by people who care for the planet! Because of their commitment to green products, Eco-Artware.com has been featured in Time, Good Housekeeping, The Wall Street Journal and many other publications. They offer a wide range of handcrafted items and products made in independent workshops, including jewelry, personal accessories, home d├ęcor, recycled stationery and office accessories. Since 1999, Eco-Artware.com has showcased earth friendly gifts made by artists who are committed to sustainability and factor the environment into their work. – read the rest of their about us page: HERE

They have so many items on their website that I adore but I’ll keep this post concentrated on the bracelet lol.

About the bracelet: Size: 1-1/2″ wide x 8-1/2″ long. The cuff is made out of recycled inner tube and is VERY durable! The dots are made out of recycled flip flops and stuck on with metal studs. It has two sets of snaps for two sizes. I love the way it fits my wrist, and when I wore it out to a shindig the other day I had a few people ask about it. My face lit up when I was able to tell them that the neat bracelet I had on was made out of recycled materials! It certainly catches their attention when they stop and think about the fact that something so cool can come from recycling! Maybe this will get a few people I know on board to recycle and buy these neat items that help show off your eco loving ways!!!

Neat Tid Bit of info on who makes these: The bracelet is made by a workshop of otherwise unemployed women started by the designer, in Brazil. They have the option of working in the workshop or taking the pieces home so they can make them up while looking after their children. They are paid good wages, too!

BUY IT: You can find this HERE For the price of: $30
