Organic and Fair Trade Black Tea & Chai!

If you love teas of all kinds I’ve got two more to tempt you with! Luckily you can get them on Amazon and luckily they are a high quality organic fair trade tea that is also reasonably priced!

Black Tea

Organic Black Tea from Darjeeling

Take 1 teaspoon tea leaves. About 2 grams of leaves is ideal for a black tea preparation. Pour freshly boiled water over the tea leaves. Boil the water to 100 degrees celsius. You can then let it cool down to upto 90 degrees. Steep for 3-5 minutes depending on your taste. Strain the leaves out & enjoy. Best consumed without or with very little milk. A sweetener like sugar or honey can be added as per taste.

This is a loose leaf black tea, it is fair trade and organic. As soon as you open it you get that classic calming tea smell that takes me back to working at Bobalicious the chinese tea shop and bubble tea place. The smell of this tea brought me back to the good ol days making teas! This really is the perfect tea, I drank it alone, just a warm cup of tea or as a base for a bubble milk tea. Working at the tea shop I gained an understanding for the importance of fresh tea leaves and the importance of quality tea, flavor and a love for loose leaf tea. This is not the regular grocery store tea bag tea, it’s fresh, great quality, and the smell… you have to smell this tea! I would advise using a small amount because it goes from dry to plump full leaves as soon as hot water hits and a little bit has a bunch of flavor!

Chai Tea

Organic Green Tea, Cloves, Cardamons, Cinnamon, Black pepper

Use 2g (1 tsp) with 200 ml of water at 90-100 degrees (194-212 degree F). Infuse for 2-5 mins depending on how strong you want your tea to be

I’m a sucker for chai tea, I always have been and I always will be. I have yet to meet a chai tea I do not like but I have found a few that I adored! This my friends, is one of those that I dearly loved! Amazing quality, fair trade organic, smells like comfort and relaxation…maybe just to me. But seriously it smells great, I used my french press to brew this for my hubby and I during our horrible colds, added some warm milk and honey and I can’t even explain or put into words how great this made me feel! As soon as the hot water hit, it fluffed up into beautiful tea leaves releasing amazing flavor. I’ve said amazing a few times in this post because both of these teas are just that!

Perfect teas!
