Simply Earth Camphor Essential Oil

Writing about Simply Earth again and super excited to be doing so. I have previously written two blogs on two other oils by Simply Earth and besides the info on the specific oil featured there is also other info about the company and what they stand for on both of those blog posts as well so be sure to check out my post on and my post on Simply Earth’s Bergamot Essential Oil HERE. Again, there’s so much about this company I love and I included some differing info in each of those posts as well as info about their oil and uses for them so check them out!

Now, as a quick recap in the event of you not having read those previous posts and due to the fact that this is the last oil I’ve been sent to review, I’ll give some basic info about Simply Earth!

Every month Simply Earth chooses a charity to donate a portion of their sales to. This month (December 2015) 13% of the profit from your purchases helps end human trafficking! Yes, a portion of the sales from you buying these awesome beneficial to your health oils is actually also helping a charity, each and every month. I feel good about buying from this company, I feel good about recommending this company to friends and family, I actually look forward to next month’s charity and buying another oil for my collection and knowing hey some of the money I just spent went to help out in a way!

Now about the Camphor Essential Oil itself, this oil is pretty interesting and neat especially if you ever get sore muscles or have muscle pain, are extremely active, hike, run, whatever it is that might make you hurt. Here is why, when applied on the skin in lotion form or with a carrier oil, whichever way you choose, it numbs the sensory nerves and causes major pain reduction! This is my go to for charlie horse cramps, if you’ve ever had one you know how bad they hurt and how impossible it is to get the pain to go away ASAP and how it seems like the pain kind of persists for a while. Putting this into DIY muscle cream makes it pretty much not hurt at all! While numbing pain it also helps decrease inflammation and it also has a calming smell that gives you a bit of a blissful feeling. I also found that mosquito seem to hate this oil, I’m not sure why but they don’t like it at all, further looking into it I found it actually was great for all insects but you don’t really need to do much with it just have something with it on it near you and the bugs scatter!

I’d like to add these oils are all extremely affordable while still having great quality! This oil is only $5 and a portion of that goes to the charity mentioned above. I plan to continue on with this company and see so much good in everything they do. These oils are tested and pure, no marketing dirty techniques, no over pricing to help pay multi level sales members, just good oils, good causes, good prices and a great company!
