NOO Dried Fruit Review & my Target bag

I wanted to talk about Newmans Own Organic Dried Fruits and Target today.

I didnt think my hubby was such a fan of dried fruit atleast not until we started trying NOO’s dried fruits. From what I got to try, not very much seeing as how every bag I opened my hubby would snack on the entire afternoon lol, I loved their Dried Fruits! Its a great alternative to making my own homemade for when I dont have the time, or I’m just feeling lazy. We all have those days.

Dried fruit has replaced a lot of junk food in my house over the past two months, and we’ll be making a trip to Trader Joe’s in Nashville (hour drive from where we are) soon to stock up on more NOO’s Dried Fruits!

DRIED FRUITS

Check out these awesome ingredients lists lol they made me giddy!

Varieties: Raisins, Prunes, Dried Cranberries, Apples, Apricots, Berry Blend

Ingredients:

Raisins: Organic Raisins

Prunes: Organic Prunes

Dried Cranberries: Organic Cranberries, Organic Cane Sugar, Organic Sunflower Oil

Apples: Dried Organic Apple Rings

Apricots: Dried Organic Apricots

Berry Blend: Organic Raisins, Dried Organic Cranberries(Organic Cranberries, Organic Sugar, Organic Sunflower Oil), Dried Organic Blueberries, (Organic Blueberries, Organic Sugar, Organic Sunflower Oil), Dried Organic Red Tart Cherries (Organic Red Tart Cherries, Organic Sugar, Organic Sunflower Oil)

I have tried the Prunes, Dried Cranberries, Apples, Apricots, and plan to buy the other two varieties when we stock up. My favorite were the Apple rings!!! But every bag we opened was a treat! Adding these to my bananas and strawberries I make give us a wide variety of Organic healthy snack alternatives! I think kids will love them too seeing as they have a natural sweetness to them that makes them irresistible!

Onto Target…

I got my recycled bag yesterday when I went to Target with two of my friends! I had a few coupons for a few things I wanted and honestly just needed light bulbs and wanted my bag lol but I put a few coupons together for a few deals.

I got my free bag, which along with my other Target bag is enough for Target lol I rarely buy more than two bags worth and hey thats $0.05 off!

I found Earth’s Best baby food on sale a few cents and got two of those for $0.61 each

Got Renuzit for $0.97 after using a $1 off coupon from the original price of $1.97 (still one of the best things to use to get doggy oders under control. looking for a more GREEN one)

Bought Snuggle Fabric Softener for $0.99 after a $3 off coupon from the newspaper today from original price of $3.99 (I want to switch to a GREENER one here as well)

Vitamin water was free after a Facebook coupon from the original price of $1.19

My light bulbs were awesome! The original price was 3.84 but I used a manufacture coupon for $1 off stacked with a Target coupon for $1.50 off and got them for $1.34!

Lastly, this made me mad, I had a coupon for a FREE Rimmel product. I thought why not get it. I wasnt paying attention when I left, and they didnt scan my coupon so I got charged the $3.99 and they kept my coupon. NOT COOL TARGET! They always have to mess me up somehow!

My total without the eyeshadow was $5.27 w taxes I’m thinking about returning the eyeshadow lol its not fair! With the eyeshadow it was $9.26, normally on my Target trips when I pay that much I get a WHOLE lot more if you followed my previous blog posts when I was moving around from Myspace to Livejournal then to here. I saved $8.30.
