Reuse Old Calendars

Picture and Flickr info:

To celebrate its 30th anniversary, which fell at Christmas time, Legambiente draws attention to recycling and responsible consumption with a gift.
Every 28 years, dates match. This proves that even an old calendar becomes new again.
So, we created a special insert where people could remove the calendar to hang on the wall.
A rubber stamp wished Happy Old Year and encouraged commitment to start the year with a resolution: RECYCLE.

I recently heard about this and thought it was a great idea! I like to reuse old calendars anyway for crafts and such, but I never thought their original purpose would later be a neat way to recycle and have a real vintage up to date calendar!

Here’s how it works:

You have to plan ahead now, save your calendars, all the neat notes you wrote will later be nice memories when your able to use it again!
Keep note of these dates when you can reuse your 2010 calendar:

You can use your 2010 calender in 2021, 2027, 2038, 2049, 2055, 2066, 2077, 2083, 2094, 2100, and 2106.

In 2010 you can use these calendars: 1999, 1993, 1982, 1971, 1965, 1954, 1943, 1937, 1926, and 1915.

You know thats cool! Now I feel like hitting up antique shops to see if there’s any old calender treasures hiding in there.
